In a foreign culture, the tip of the iceberg immediately grabs your attention: the difference in the way they dress, in the gestures, language, food and music. But the area below is much bigger! These elements, invisible at first glance, are only revealed to people from a foreign culture through direct contact and exchange of information. The more intensively we engage with a culture, the more clearly we can see what lies beneath the surface.

Package 1 “Discovering the Tip of the Iceberg”
For short assignments in Hungary
You’ll learn the basics about Hungary and the Hungarian people, get an idea of the cultural differences between “typically German” and “typically Hungarian”, and learn about your own cultural preferences.
Contents of the package (available offline or online):
- 60-minute preliminary conversation about your goals and needs
- 90-minute information and assessment (IPT® -Tool – online self-assessment in cultural dimensions)
- Half-day “Hungary and the Hungarians” basic training with assessment and recommendations for the preparation of an individual IPT® report.
- 90-minute briefing 4 weeks after moving to Hungary

Package 2 “Surface Diving“
The first 100 days in Hungary
You’ll enjoy the new culture. You’ll get to know the people and their customs, as well as the unseen values, outlook and mindset of Hungarians beyond the country’s history. Is somebody coming with you? We also offer family and environmental support. If your partner and children attend the intercultural training, they will also gain useful information.

- 90-minute preliminary conversation about your goals and needs (with your partner and children)
- 90-minute briefing, IPT® tool test and assessment (online self-assessment by cultural dimensions for you and your partner)
- A one-day “Professional and Personal Success in Hungary” training based on the results of the IPT® tool, with personalised recommendations and case studies.
- One-day training and coaching for your partner, focusing on their career or personal development during their stay abroad
- Monthly consultations (3 x 90 minutes) with you and your family members on-site, in Hungary or online (case study discussion, community building, useful tips on how to deal with your team members, how to spend your free time, etc.)
Who is this package for?
- For company executives, their accompanying partners and their children in preparation for a post in Hungary (up to 2 years)
- For professionals and company managers who are working with Hungarian colleagues for a longer period of time
Package 3 “Deep Sea Diver“
For the first year of posting in Hungary
You are immersed in Hungarian culture, there is no depth limit here! You as an executive and your partner and your children as travel companions will be able to discover the unknown cultural elements of Hungarian culture. Even things that not even Hungarians are aware of! You will inevitably reflect on your own culture and compare it with your cultural experiences from your professional life. You will participate in consultations on leadership and motivation issues in multicultural groups. You’ll get tips on hidden destinations in Hungary that may not be in the guidebooks. We will talk about topics that are sensitive issues for Hungarians. Organising family social events is also part of the package, so that everyone can find their own company. I’ll even teach you the basics of the Hungarian language!

- Monthly consultations (12 x 90 minutes) with you and your family members on-site, in Hungary or online (case study discussion, community building, useful tips on how to deal with your team members, how to spend your free time, etc.).
- Together with your family you can participate in community-building events and get free membership in the closed Xing or LinkedIn group “CrossCultureSuccess in Budapest”.
- I am available all year round for urgent matters
- Intercultural coaching for you and your fellow travellers
- Basic Hungarian language course
